Visual Tour of Kerry ![]() Gallarus Oratory, Gallarus, Co Kerry. Gallarus Oratory may date from the 7th or 8th century, though some believe it dates from the 12th century due to presence of a romanesque style window on the eastern wall. Gallarus is a fine example of a Christian cell. Using corbelled stone the cell is as dry inside as the day it was completed. You will walk in the vicinity of Gallarus oratory on The Dingle Way or you may take a specialised archaeological tour visiting many of the ancient sites of the peninsula.
